Can a DBK 21 connect to PHD or K3CCD tools?

Hi,

I have a friend who is on the market for a planetary/moon imaging camera but also could be used as a guide camera.

I am wondering if anyone uses the DBK 21 with PHD guideing and is it a good option(being a free program) and can it be used with K3CCD Tools as I find this a great program to drift align with. I just tried to hook up my DMK 21 and it would not recognise the camera with K3CCD tools.

Thanks

MArk

yes it will Mark. There is an issues with exposure times, but it will work. For some reason though I find my DMK gives less problems than my DBK.

If they want to do planetary with it then the IC Capture program that comes with it is good. Registax baulks the avi at times but selecting the right codex solves that.

Yep, it'll be good to catchup. You can have a go at the dbk31 tonight if you like.
