Good seeing at last mostly before culmination, ganymede was nearby and got great detail when it was close to Jupiter before it went behind. Cloud came at 9pm and stayed till midnight. Could see lots of detail in the red channel on Jupiters surface so could imaging what 10/10 seeing would give, seeing last night was 7/10. I used my 2xPowermate and 2x C Ultima to give 9844mm similar to Quark's fl which worked well in last nights seeing.
Congrats on this fine effort, you should be very pleased. Jup does seem to come up nicely with a FL around 10 m. You should also be congratulated on this processing effort, very natural, I am so glad you resisted the temptation to over cook it. Nothing looks worst, in my opinion, than the harsh edges and unnatural detail that comes from over sharpening.
Just how good is the Flea, reckon you would be well satisfied with it now.
Thanks guys for comments, I feel much better now I know it all works and the F3 is a fantastic little bag of tricks and blows the DMK away easily, I am still imaging in 8bit so will need to move to 16bits in fits and do it properly.
I did use Trevors recent image results as a guide along with Paul Haese images as it is so easy to over sharpen and make it too bright and lose the finer detail, many keep it natural with the browns so I tried not to pull too much blue which I often do in rebalancing colour. Now just waiting for excellent seeing during/after dusk in next few days if I get a chance.
