Nebulosity Sequence generator

Just saw a post over at Yahoo Starklabs forum for a image sequence generator plugin to Nebulosity.

- Integrated PHD dithering between frames
- Changed the control panel layout to be more real-estate friendly
- Added automatic (pattern-defined) sequence pause for refocus
- Added optional Nebulosity control using TCP/IP sockets (uses
clipboard by default)
- Many bug fixes (stability)
- Changed event layout to always keep column headers visible
- Option to always keep current event visible

This looks nice. You need net framework 4. The installer package exe will auto download this if you require.

I have to wait to install this as I'm over data limits here...sigh.

Was that the 1.1.3 or the 1.1.4 announcement? 1.1.4 has only been up on SF for about half an hour.

I've used version 1.1.2 a number of times now. It works really well with integrating an ascom filterwheel with an SBIG camera to run an automated sequence (something I cannot do from within CCDsoft). The last sequence was forgetable, it clouded over after 2 subs (having a nap at the time) and PHD guiding was lost. Prior to that run it has worked a treat.

Thanks Keith. Will try it next clear night.

Alas...pity there is not much out there for the Mac users. Must feel like the Leppers of Astronomy?

Just had a bit of a play with this. Now up to version 1.1.8. Looks extremely powerful and feature rich.

Looks like it will provide better information on the state of the cooler than Nebulosity currently does.

Had a go last night with it and was quite impressed as it adds so much to Nebulosity's functionality.

Sure does. Just finished my first massive run with it - 20 hours long! Great for fully automating calibration libraries.
