Here is this morning's effort at Sol... we hit a few snags today... HDD full, and a few software bugs, so didn't manage to get the full set unfortunately.
I've done 2 versions of AR11112 trying to bring out more detail.
BTW ignore the comments on the close ups... I lied... I actually used the C11, with the Thousand Oaks white light filter and the DMK 41...... I'll have to fix that up...

That is awesome. I've just got a PST and have been wondering whether I'll get into imaging with it or not. I'm really looking forward to following sunspots etc. Your photos make me enthused all over again!
Nice work Al. As per usual I really enjoy looking at you full disk image. I am hoping for some nice solar seeing this week to get some nice data if I can.

Thanks Alexandra. The PST is a great little scope. You'll love it... especially with the sun getting busier.

It is a very impressive disc at the moment!
Will you be able to image as the large filament as it rounds the limb?
I am considering taking my scope to work to do some lunch time imaging!?
Not a chance today. Riding the BMW to work today then in to Bathurst for a service, then visiting 2 friends in hospital tonight who each had a baby on Sunday...
... I'll have to fix that up...
