Weather has been bad for 5 weeks, I am learning about planetary imaging but don't stand a chance at getting any experience with weather like this, the wind is howling at the moment.
Set up scope for clear night on 5th Oct but cloud coming in from sea not shown on IR map, I had literally a 5 min hole in cloud so took this image and had to alter gain as Jupiter faded then brightened in cloudy scene - no star collimation! I need to get to grips with the Flea3 controls as its a bit different from easy DMK.
Image is not bad but hopefully I am in for better results if the weather calms down so will try longer FL's.
Certainly some nice detail in this image, reckon you are on the right track for sure. I think it is pretty important to handle the colour balance at capture and to avoid saturation.
