Smile 10" Tracking Dob

Hi folks, last night I took my 10" skywatcher tracking dob round to a friends and used the synscan hand-controller from a 12" skywatcher GoTo dob he's testing in my scope.
Result, fantastic! after a two star alignment (vega + alpha cent.), every object I went to (m7, m57, m4, venus, 47 tuc, the dumbell, etc.)was in the field of a Vixen LVW22mm.
My friend has also flashed the hand controller from his eq6 to Alt/Az and back again, with no problems at all.
Just thought I'd let the folks with the tracking dobs know.
Andy.

10"tracking dob

Everything stayed in the center of field of view for as long as I wanted. P.A.E. function improves aligning as you go. My friend has also taken planetary and DSO images with a G-Star-EX awesome!
Andy.

Thanks for the info Andy.

I have the 12" tracking dob and I'm considering getting the SynScan controller, so it's good to know it actually works.
