Jupiter in good seeing 9th Sept. 2010

Hi all. Another reasonable capture session here in Bundaberg QLD. Thank YOU weather gods!

Hopefully this is the worst one out of the bunch. I totally filled the laptop with data this time. On the last capture The live feed started to get very choppy & after finishing found out I had about 1% left on the HD.

I'll give it a 7-8/10 overall (2 hrs.) but generally, I think it was a 7/10. More to come later I hope!

The seeing dropped off for the whole session after the first two AV's unfortunately, but here's two reworks from the best run with the 2X & 3X barlows.

And thanks Anthony.

I like the veiny blue festoons that fill the area just above the North Equatorial Belt. The resolution in that region sets the standard for others to try and emulate. Very well done John.

Hi guys, & thanks for the comments. I don't like the 3X version on this occasion. Big, grainy & blurry. I like the 2X a lot though!

Very nice work John, reckon I agree with you regarding the 2x image.
Really like it, very crisp indeed.
