GS 16" truss dob poll

OK, time to see how close we get to the truth.

We know that the new GS 16" truss dob is coming soon but I thought it might be a bit of fun trying to guess when and how much.

Just place your guess of time and price above and we will see how close we can be when it is finally released! (if ever!)

Maybe we can get Mike to entice Andrew's to throw one in as 1st prize in the XMAS comp ???? He'll just have to put a raincheck on it when it becomes available.

If you look at Andrews pricing on the other dobs, isn't there some sort of pattern going on there?
6"-$299,
8" - $399
10" - $599
12" - $999
Therefore a 14" - $1599
16" - $2399
Or it could be
14" - $1799
16" - $3399
I voted differently in the poll, but have decided that it will cost $2399.

Is this a guessing game ? Or are we trying to use covert and subliminal methods to advise Lee & co, how much we're prepared to spend in the game of aperture chasing?

From the look of the responses, I think this is more of a wishing game than a guessing game.

It would have to be after Chinese New Year, as they have to load the containers and then ship it down which they wont even contemplate until after the month-long festival, so I'm guessing April at the earliest. As for price, no idea really.

You won't need any guests when you have a 16" Dob to keep you company.
