We travel back 66 million years to break down the chain of events that led to the extinction of the dinosaurs and changed the world forever. Visit a high-tech NASA lab where scientists use new technology to recreate the force of the blast and reveal the likely cascade of effects of the catastrophic impact.

We get free to air tv here but not the right channels. We get imparja, abc, sbs and southern cross and we also get sbs1,2,3 and HD ABC 1,2,3 and 24 but no 10 Go and all the others.

Bourganvilea is my favourite shrub, and hubby's worst nightmare, he ends up with lots of blood drips after pruning.

Thanks Warren!
I hadn't heard so much detail on how hot temps might have been around the globe before. Fascinating and scarey.

Thanks Warren That was very interesting, seems like the Earth tuned into a very hellish world .As they said it is not if but when the next large impact will be.
Let's hope the next one is way way into the far future and we have the technology to divert such a disaster.

Yep, great show

Yes recorded it, great viewing.
Is the predictions about the super heating of the atmosphere by the fallout or rather fall back in correct? What about the effects of our large amount of water on this planet. That would steam up to cool the planet wouldnt it??
Though granted by that time wouldnt be much life around anyway.
Cheers.
Lee.
