QHY5, Guidescope and Tak Bracket

I just got notification that my SXV camera and guide head as well as my mini-borg is turning up in a few days, so time to put my current guide setup up.

For sale is a guide package that consists of the following:
  • A GSO t-thread adapter epoxied to the tube of a GSO RACI 9x50 finder that I have repainted (a little untidily - I'll post photos). The optics are unblemished.
  • A QHY5 camera with all cables. Note that as usual with the QHY5, there is no disk and the software for this needs to be downloaded from QHYCCD Labs website.
  • A 50mm Takahashi finder bracket, completely unmarked. This bracket uses lock screws front and back of the tube instead of the usual (too) flexible o-ring setup that the GSO brackets use.
The QHY5 screws straight onto the t-thread adapter and the length is such that the locking ring on the finder can still be used to retain perfect focus.

Nothing wrong with anyof the above (other than the slightly dodgy paint-job on the finder tube), it's just that I have an acute case of upgrade fever at the moment...

Asking $400 including express post anywhere in Australia or $350 pickup from the Brisbane CBD on weekdays.

Attached are some photos. I apologise for the quality, my DSLR is on loan, so I had to use the camera phone.

But then you'd need milk to wash them down - this is a slippery slope...

I will split these as follows:

  • 50mm Takahashi finder bracket - $125
  • GSO finder tube with epoxied 1.25"/t-thread adapter - $50

All including Express Post.

All that's left is the 50mm Tak finder bracket, so time to close this one down...

Thanks to all who enquired.
