Peter,
I live in Brisbane but grew up in Sydney, so as is the norm for me around State Of Origin time I will yell out in very, very hushed tones (so that the Queenslanders don't hear me) "Go NSW"....
I wish I could be there but unfortunately I'm unable to make the trip up. Maybe next year...
Cheers,
Mario

I'm in Borneo at the moment but will make it home the day before astrofest and just have time to pack it all up and get there. Been looking forward to this for ages.

Just keep the Sun on your right in the morning, and on your left in the afternoon, just drive north through the "Bad Lands" until you cross the Tweed... You'll be right then .

In Queensland the legislation is quite explicit, we do not discriminate anyone. Insanity requires caring, you poor man, besides SOMEONE has to cheer them.

If the payment is received earlier enough the confirmation and receipt will be sent with the Info Pack. First lot went out last weekend, next lot this weekend.

I can't remember the exact details but I believe the weight is about 5 kg and the toss went around the 15 metre mark. Below are
1. Mozzie in action
2. The bloke who gave him a run for the coveted prize last year... QUEENSLANDER
3. measuring the toss.
4 Mozzie receiving his well earned trophy as the Biggest Tosser at the Queensland Astrofest

Don't be fooled, that's just a dunny roll Mozzie's throwing cleverly swapped by the judges....
