Melbourne time lapse

Hi all,

I am working on a Melbourne time lapse project (need to do something when it is cloudy) and below is the link to the first draft. I need to re-visit the Eureka Skydeck and shoot more angles and re-do the second part of the footage due to the tower shake (I only had one battery with me yesterday).

Comments and critique regarding the subject matter and soundtrack choice are very welcome.

The gear is as usual: D700 and 14-24mm lens.

That is unreal.

The only thing that bugs me is the rectilinear distortions.

All it needs are explosions and fireworks.

The distortions annoy me as well but hard to avoid when you are 297 metres above

Each part is about 600 frames, 2 second exposure and 2 second interval. So each recording is about 40 minutes long.

Would love to have a look but can't readily locate a CODEC either for
Windows Media Player or QuickTime Player for Windows that will play it.

I encoded it as WMV it is a bit larger though (17MB):
