I haven't been around much lately.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick post to say I haven't been around on the forum lately.
I've been sick and had a severe migraine attack and ended up in hospital again.

Getting better now but still feel weak.

Also the usual work and family commitments have kept me a bit too busy lately but hopefully I will get back into the swing of things.

My apologies to all the posts and threads that I've missed out on replying to, there's just too much to catch up on but I'll do my best.

Had my first migraines around Christmas last year. I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy.

Migranes run in my family, so I sympathise with you RB.

One of my docs suffers from them too. She prescribed me 1.5 Naprosyn 500 to take as soon as I start to notice symptoms. It usually staves off my migranes. Another couple of 0.5 doses are allowed later if symptoms persist.

If you wait for the pain to start is is too late.

The doco than comes with Naprosyn specifically mentions the use of it for migranes.

Geeez Andrew , not good mate, I remember a few years ago you were suffering with these migranes. Glad to hear your feeling better and hope the can find something soon to nail it.
