Re-processed Mars from yesterday

The Mars from yesterday was processed on a laptop, and so back at work today on the CRT I was able to give it another run through, and I've adjusted the levels and gamma on this one as the previous one was too dark.

The left image is processed in registax and photoshop, the right image is processed in registax, photoshop and neatimage.

I'll give it one more run through with bird's superdooper ppm techniques next week when I get more time.

Comments welcome.

Mike, that's a really good result. The SPC is tiny at the moment, getting it to show up requires very good seeing and capturing, congrats. Lots of other detail visible there too.

Great images Mike! The right one looks less grainy on my LCD screen while showing the same detail.
