If you're not sure what it does, have a look at the old thread

Changes in 0.8 vs 0.7b;
  • Increased accuracy
  • Optimized the code
  • Added progress indicator for the different stages
  • Now importing grayscale TIFF (8-bit or 16-bit); IMPORTANT: StarWipe does NOT work on non-debayered/demosaicked images
  • Now importing TIFFs with an alpha channel (alpha channel information is ignored)
