Doug, great image!
You've got some good focus happening and I like the colours you've brought out.
Perhaps the blue stars are a little on the purple side but hey, takes nothing away from the overall shot.
One of my favourite areas and you've done it justice for sure.

that seems a good bit deeper than the first version.. well done.

you've clearly attacked the purple halos too which has improved the image although with just a few artefacts visible. i don't enjoy trying to fix star halos either

the image looks good though..

Cheers Phil - but when I re-looked at the Repro I thought "Jeez, what a gaudy mess!!" so I've done a final more subdued version (I hope!)
