Just visited APOD and there was Anthony's work. Fantastic! Congratulations. It was great to see him Journey to the Planets too. I'd just been saying to my beloved as they were talking about Jupiter collecting comets that Anthony had caught the first photos of another impact and up he popped. Thoroughly deserved public acknowledgment.

I reckon he's gonna get another one for this new impact on Jup. What's the record for the shortest time in between two consecutive APODs?

Hi Anthony,
As a noobie, it is very humbling to be surrounded by people such as yourself on this forum that contribute so much to astronomy. There are many others on here too which get my attention for their contributions, and I think wow, I feel so privileged and proud as punch being part of this community.
What a media blitz it's been and so well deserved. It must feel such an amazing high - for a planet you dedicate so much time and effort into and which you enjoy so much, to reap you so many rewards and publicly acknowledged (many it seems) to boot.

Many congratulations Anthony.

Regards,
Suzy.
