12" DOB $400.00/ED80 Complete $350.00 (pick up only)

Hi,
Just Edited:
The 12" Dob comes with a host of EPs listed below...I don't have time to barter and nit pick over it...is what it is..a 12 inch light bucket that performs well and gives big views...once again go over my obs and you will see what I mean. I do not sell faulty equipment, no play them up to be better than they really are. Everything you need to know has been revealed & I am only to happy to answer relevant quesitons.

its $400.00 with accessories however at that price you will have to pick it up from Toowoomba...if you want door service then Its $500.00

The ED80 cost me a small fortune at aoe.com.au and still sells like so...It's a real performer that is quite weighty and smooth to operate...it's $350.00 pick up also and comes complete with mount. I have hardly used it as it was meant to be for astro photography.

Find pics below through out this post.

Thanks Steve...I forgot to tell everyone, that I kind of rushed this post and am now attempting to find time to upload some pics...The scopes where photographed about 18months ago and I'll post newer pics after the weekend if required or I have time.
I will be traveling the rural flea markets selling electronics to make a quid; and only able to check my email and PMs...will divert phone if I remember...rush rush... Thank You for your Patients

Only taking offers at this stage and will make considerations based on feed back after the weekend. I apologize if this is inconvenient.
Posting some pics now. I do acknowledge these popular scopes have come down in price and is why I will be taking offers on the whole lot and whilst I expect the ed will not go for or I will not sell for anywhere what I paid, I will be taking a low offer on the whole lot rather than getting stuck on the lower end of the mark...sorry if that is confusing...but having said that, I may be open to change for the right person. Thanks for the asking. I put in the ED 80 pics....2AM start...need to pack my car and eat...Maybe do more pics if I can.

LOL BigJ...
OK Back from markets and still very tired...3 am start tomorrow
I managed to take some more pics like I intended to of my DOB, to show you what others wont when they sell you theirs.

It's been some time since I last cleaned my mirror however for those of you in the know, and if you look at how the light plays differently in the photos you may also understand how APP size can overide the appartent dust the plauges so many of our thoughts as to how often we should clean.....That really is a long story...

One thing I can't play down are some scuff marks I ended up with bacause of incorect cleaning technique, but once again, if you manage to search my posts in the observing or obs report section, you will still see just how much I was still able to see.

There is also a very minor scratch on the secondary from my watch!

At the end of the day its really been a great scope that I have gotten to know well....VERY WELL and am amazed at just how tough these scopes really are and just how much time I wasted worrying about every minute detail.........none the less if you want a clean and untarnished DOB, then I recommend that you simply buy brand new.

The truth is, if like me, you learn a wealth of info from this site and really start to observe in all the manner one does to teas every ounce of perction from the eye piece...you'll be suprised as I was...about the important things that come to light about you and your telescope.

What I am selling here is APP size for a cheap price & for the right person they can rejuvenate this baby to show room condition, yet at the same time still get as good a view as the first day I used it.

uploading pics now and will comment on price later (it will be very fair and provide on opportunity for someone) as well as the ED...family calling...hungry.....Back later...movie and food...down time...
OH YEA ... the second pic was taken after I took the screws out to remove mirror and I always have a mark to assist with collimating after I replace the mirror...there are no missing screws...unit is complete!

Hey David, I placed the ad for $400... If this is too expensive I might have to lower it and pay using other money... might sell my phone... I don't know...
