Hi all, here's an image of Saturn from last night in good seeing. The faint SED storm could can be seen at lower right, and the shadow of Tethys is visible near the centre of the disk. Tethys is a little higher up, close to the ring, but not possible to see.
Hi Mike, the transparency wasn't very good last night, lots of contrails in the sky from aircraft - there must have been 50 of them visible when I went down to the scope, I guess the absence of jetstream lets them sit around up there without clearing.
They caused some problems as you might guess, Saturn would blur out to one side every time one went across in front...
Otherwise there is no special processing in this image.
