Saturn + Titan transit

Hi all, here are some images of last nights transit of Titan. I have a few more images to process and so I'll keep posting them in here as they get done.

This first image shows the start of the transit through a near-IR filter (Astronomik 742nm+).

regards, Bird

re Saturn/Titan

Great work Bird!

I observed Titan re-emerging from the front of the disc at approx 10.40 pm.

I like these pictures along with the photos from the gentleman from Broken Hill.who has similar photos,I find them useful in putting into perspective what I observe visually.

Well done!

Chris

Well done Bird,

Hope your were able to capture the entire transit and if so will you post an animation of it?

Love what your doing with the Flea3 Bird. Just as a matter of interest, at 17 fps and I am assuming max gain, how full was your histogram?

Regards
Trevor

Thanks all. Trevor the histogram was pretty good. Here's one sample raw frame, the brightest part was around 75%

cheers, Bird
