Saturn's storms and Tethy's transit 4.23.10

We are admittedly in the slow lane over here in Florida. If we go faster than 7.5 fps on Saturn it gets too dim and noisy to process. However, we have found that life is not terrible in the slow lane. We did manage these two shots. Note the prominent group of storms.
The color image was taken hours later than the other after the seeing calmed down a bit.

Hi Dave & Gail,

Life in the slow lane doesn't look to bad at all.

What a lovely image. I know you have previously mentioned that on your computer the colour looked washed, hey Dave, on my Toshiba this image is brilliant. Colour looks excellent, processing looks spot on. In my humble opinion this is the best image that you have posted on IIS.

Regards
Trevor

Dave, out of curiosity, what capture software are you using with your dragonfly2?

cheers, Bird

I use the Mac software Astro IIDC. I am hoping that software will recognize the Flea3 as PGR says it's backward compatible. Astro IIDC will see the Flea2G for example.

Thanks the pros like yourself at IIS who gave the help and set the path for me to follow. I should mention that I have a divorce recently. Not from my wife Gail but from Astro IIDC's image processor. I am using Registax like the grownups do.
