Ok, I'm stretching the legs a bit more on the 350D. I decided to point the rig at IC 2944 to see what I could come up with.
This is 3.5hrs @ 480mm.
ED80 --> IDAS LPS --> WO 0.8x --> Canon 350D (modded)
IC 2944 - 930kb

Very nice image, lots of colours and very sharp.
My only criticism (minor one) is the framing with the open cluster cut off on the right hand side. Would've been nice to include that if you could.

Ken, no I didn't change the spacing, just spent more time with the focusing. It seems by getting the focus just right the stars around the edges improve, they are by no means spot on, but its certainly better than my previous attempts with the WO flattener. Honestly, I should just let go of the ED80 and get myself a FSQ-106 as a replacement 
Mike, Yep I agree, I should have shifted the frame across just a touch to include the cluster. With a 480mm FL and a 350D sensor, it should all just squish into the frame

Stretching the legs with the 350D?. Sheesh, guiding is pretty smick, the EQ6 is proceeding nicely too. Nice work Michael.

Thanks Fred, yes the EQ6 is a bit of a pain at times, but when its set up just right it cruises along just nicely. But then again its wide field work, might be a different story if I was imaging at 1800mm or thereabouts

Yes, it was one of those moments where I was on the 3rd 10min sub and I realised "ah fiddlesticks!" (I was having a slow thought day/night), however by then I was just figured that I would let it run.
