Hairy little bee

Took this a couple of weeks ago at the Botanical Gardens. I wasn't sure whether it would be good enough to post up

Hi Adam

A tough shot given the amount of white in the frame!

Looks fine to me! I like the folds in the white petals. Arguably, the bee could have been “higher up” or more completely visible, but a fine portrait none the less. The pollen sacs on the back legs have come out very nicely.

The side on view is also an excellent way of keeping the whole body in focus – I only wish the bees in my shots would pose this way!

Cheers

Dennis

Hi Adam,
That's a Top Quality shot! So much detail on the subject.
It never ceases to amaze me the quality of images that come through these Posts. An awful lot of these would be right at home in National Geographic books.
Cheers,
Duncan

Thanks for all the comments. My next challenge will be to have a crack at focus stacking
