Exclamation Shuttle launch scheduled for late afternoon/early evening today

Shuttle 'Discovery' is counting down for launch later today (about 5 hours after the time of this post):

NASA TV

Latest shuttle news page (auto-updating)

Countdown clock (good luck following it, with all the scheduled holds along the way!)

Michael,

Thanks for the heads up -- I knew one was imminent.

Forget NASA TV, use SpaceVidCast for high definition live streaming. The NASA TV site is delayed by two minutes (or so).

The HD broadcast is awesome compared to NASA TV!!
Just remember that it eats megabites like smarties. The last launch I watched cost me many $$ in overusage fees. (thanks to big pond scum)

Get a Liberty Plan. You pay a set amount and if you go over your limit, your speed just slows down.

I know! I have 2 Liberty Plans. USB Next-G 1Gb Plan (slowed until 11/04/2010), and a Wireless Gateway Next-G 6Gb Plan.

Spacevidcast wasn't working for me.

I was having problems with NASA TV, as well, but, it just kicked in exactly at launch.
