my first moonage from the Doghouse
quickly tried out the scope on the Lunar surface - basic and horrible but i managed to snap this shot - then the cloud came back over after a clear evening sunset...(when twighlight finished)
must admit that this isnt really a great image, but hey why not butcher another image

Pretty cool moon shot actually. And you didn't even have to pack anything after you took it...green with envy.

Very Nice Houghy,
Perhaps you should put a sign over the doghouse door and label it
"Tranquility Base"?
Has a certain ring to it.
Cheers

Thanks JJJ,
I feel a little silly for putting that out there now, I really should have kept my mouth shut so I could keep it for myself....
Oh well, At least Houghy has first dibs on it (if he likes it of course)
You heard it here first folks.
Cheers

Well, Crisium base then, perhaps. (Hopefully not Procellarum base.)
Nice moon, too.
