what light pollution filter

maybe this has been discussed before but what is -in the combined wisdom of the very knowledgeable IIS community-is the best filter for RGB imaging with a one shot colour camera in light polluted surrounds?

I have terrible light pollution causing un- manageable gradients and so have to use narrow band filters to do anything at all from my home

in the past when I imaged with a Canon 300D I tried a CLS filter but found I was just creating a new set of processing challenges

is there a solution at all-for a QHY8-that can help bring some colour back into my life?

thanks

Hi trevor,

Im planning on getting the same for my 50D Ive heard adjusting the color curves is difficult. Have you had any issues with that? My problem is that getting the IDAS wont be enough to counter the LP I have so the next obvious choice is Astronomik.

Regards
