Solar disk from January 24

After the result of Dennis' reworking of the low res image I posted to his thread, I purchased the Topaz Detail plug-in for myself. What a great tool!

I stacked the images I took on the 24th with Registax, then gave them a treatment in PS with Topaz. The insets are full size pasted into a resize of the disk.

Nowhere near the quality that Dennis can produce, but I'm happy enough with my effort. Most details on the image.

Excellent work Tony showing some crisp details. A lovely production too, it really makes the image come to life the way you have presented it.

You had some good data to begin with, which really pays dividends during post capture processing. You are really pushing the envelope with the x4 Powermate!

Cheers

Dennis

Well done Tony !
Great work there and nicely presented too.
I don't use plug ins but I'm going to have to download this Topaz and give it a try.
It's been recommended by so many and the results look pretty good.

I'm the same... mainly because I don't really know what I'm doing, but when I saw what Dennis got out of my websize image earlier, I knew I had plenty of use for it.

I had no idea that there was so much information in the image.
