But your right... Dang! awesomely clear nite.... bummer. We did a public

I'm going wide field tonight. Using the nifty 50. Just taking random shots of the sky atm.

Hi Jeanette
I’m just cruising around some multiple stars. Started in Orion, moved to Canis Major to bag Sirius and the Pup then on to Monceros and I think the ‘scopes pointing somewhere in Puppis. The seeing is really quite good isn’t it?
Have a good one!
Cheers
Dennis

It's lovely isn't it. The moon is now behind the trees and the sky is darkening considerably.
Nearly finished with my first set of images, a super wide field of the Rosette.

I'm set up JJJ... I managed to get a grand total of 3x5min Red subs on my target, and the clouds have closed in... I'm going to sit it out for a while and see how it goes.. I do hope it clears, because I was hoping for 5hrs data... not 15mins Red data..

Clouds are clearing here. I'm chasing reflections, only been going for an hour odd.

So glad I made the effort to set up.
Though it's getting very drippy dewy now. Time to warm up the hair dryer.

Those clouds must be sticking to the coast, not a sign of them all night.
About to start on Crux. Something to post for Australia Day. LOL
