45c in down around Avalon and Geelong way.
Doug, Adelaide always has it much "tougher " than Melbourne every single summer....it is after all a meditterainian (how ever the crap you spell that!) climate while Melbounre is in the subarctic roaring 40's.

Adealide has the most impressive heatwaves of all capitals, while Melbourne is comparitively icy cold, despite being the closest city to it *povo lame crap*

enjoy the heat while it lasts, because after tomorrow its back to the usual subarctic 20-25C "summer" cold with icy 13C nights Absolutely no beer drinking weather forecast here in the icy cold subarctic tundra of Melbourne for the forseeable future....and all those stupid retards were going on about how hor a summer we were going to have after November's warmth...Well, November was summer here, since then it's been wall to wall cold bullcrap

grrr yep yet another heatwave, this is the third extra hot summer in a row now, hasnt been like this since the late 90's i reckon, that was three mega-hot summers in a row from memory... and after well below average temps for most of last winter, sigh, er its always a good time for a beer? no?
dont forget, we get low humidity as well, only 13% at mo, so not as bad as it sounds?

Come to Melbourne, just the usual one day wonders every month or two here.

We have been about 10-15C cooler than Adelaide day and night this time round ,like usual.

Constant, wall to wall cool changes are the reason why Melbourne is so cloudy (and COLD) 365 nights (days) per year.

Hopefully it is a SABnova, but it could well be merely a star that just is simply hidden in overexposed images of the galaxy. But a couple of beers shouldn't distort you night vision tooo much..

last night was a nightmare trying to sleep.
