I LOVE that colour! A lot different from the reds and magenta's we are used to seeing. This actually looks very natural.

I wonder, what is the REAL colour of the Carina region?

Good stuff Daniel!

Baz.

It has come up really nicely Daniel. Loads of detail and the colours look almost like a narrowband image.

Great work.

That's not bad mate, some nice crisp detail in there, looks liek a narrow band image...now remove the stars and get with it man .

Unless I am not utilising it properly, I must say though, I have never liked Photobucket as an image display platform. I think Pbase is much better.

Thanks heaps for the feedback guys.
I have been doing a fair bit of reading and learning on the processing side of things so although not perfect I was fairly happy with the result and I originally had it looking traditionally redish but only a slight tweak got it looking like this which also came up so much better when I ran off a print. The filter used was a UHC-S.

Cheers Daniel.

Very nice Dan. The colour is unusual but seems to work very well on the fine detail.

Well done.

Nice work Daniel. The colour gets you thinking, but I'm glad you confirmed it wasn't NB. Very crisp image - I love the amount of detail you've captured.

Happy New Year!

Thanks Doug, after watching you at Snake Valley wizzing around Photoshop like riding a bike you inspired me to get into gear on the processing side of things.

Thanks Darell, I made a jig with fishing line which fits over the front of the ED 80.(see pics below)
