Hi Paul - no SII in the images (Hubble palette on a DSLR might be nice though!) 3rd image in the lo res images is the RGB image with a bit of Ha and OIII blended into the RGB channels around 20% per channel. 4th one is the synthetic mixup!
Cheers
Doug

Great set of pics Doug. The Ha shot really stands out. I really like #3 too. Looks like you're having fun with those NB filters. Top work.

Thanks Troy, Mike and Marc.
No.3 is becoming my favourite too - the original Tiff is very smooth, Worthy of a hard copy perhaps!?
Marc - yes the Astronomik clip in filters have become fixtures in my gear now. Paul has got me thinking about the SII version now - probably not much cop on a DSLR but as you've said it's fun using them and playing around with the various possibilities.
All the best
Doug

Looks good Doug. You are certainly getting the hang of NB blending. Might have to pick your brain when I get around to doig this myself.
Merry Christmas Mate.

Cheers Doug - must admit though it's still "flying by the seat of my pants" type processing! Very much trial and error still! But fun!!
Merry Chrimbo to you too!

Oh OK, trying to catch up on posts and I see this is a further addition to the first post..? I like the Ha only the best, this region in Ha always reminds me of a UK Schmidt red plate I saw up at Stromlo 25yrs ago, and now jokers like you and I (well I'm the joker) can whip'em out when ever we want

Mike
