Dragonflies from Queens Park, Ipswich

Some dragonflies shot today at Queens Park in Ipswich with fellow IISers Troypiggo and dpastern in a quickly organised mini macro meet.

Wow – what a superb portfolio! Getting these face on shots requires a good bit of field craft, unless the Ipswich DF’s are wannabe poseurs!

I assume the mouth is defined by the lower horizontal structures rather than the central line?

Cheers

I sense a BIMBO meet in Ipswich in the very near future.
