Our Fauna

Just some of the wildlife that appears around our house now and then.
They are only are 'happy snaps' so don't be too harsh.

1) A hare. These are lovely but very cagey and difficult to catch staying still.

2) Some sort of brightly coloured parrot. Pretty but noisy.

3) These are some fledgling swallows to which we've been playing host. They reward us by pooping everywhere and "swooping" the cat.

4) Crack-addicted possum. Well, addicted anyway. She loves bananas and knows we are a soft touch. Lately she's been dragging juniour along, so we're enabling a second generation of welfare recipient!

Hope you enjoy them.

Nice collection Peter ... Possoms are always up for that sort of food ... and always arrive for it once you start them off ... Great creatures.

Enjoyed the pictures.

Thanks guys,
The irony is, we have lots of wildlife, but it's got lots of room to avoid US.
Our friends have a 1 Ha block in Arthurs Creek and they get TONS of it!
