I'm the other way around now. When it gets really hot you can always cool down in the water or drink more. Back home in the mountains we had typically -23c at night, maybe around 1-2c midday. The air was dry but I don't like cold anymore. You still drink though to keep you warm but not the same stuff. So hot or cold somethings never change

Extremes either way are insufferable Marc.
I solved my problem this morning. Bought the kids and myself a small swimming pool. More a lounging pool, it's 3.6 x .76 .

Kids pool is the best. I spent more time in it than the kids when they were little I have a mate who just came back from a business trip in Darwin. He reckons it was very hard to put up with humidity just walking outside. May be hot or cold doesn't matter that much but 90% humidity is a killer either way.

My twin brother lives in
Jasper, Alberta. He sent me a picture of himself yesterday, skiing up to the post office in minus 35 degrees. I sent him one back, of me, languishing in PLUS 35 degrees

i agree with you, JJJ. Cant bear the heat. A month ago we went to Tassie for an exploration (possible retirement) trip. We decided, thats the place for us. If this heat continues,we may go sooner rather than later.
It's 34.5 degrees, noon at Burpengary today, Thursday AAAGGGHHHH

Phew!! We only have a balmy 31.8°C indoors as I write.

Hope you’re holding it together – I can now appreciate the statement “going troppo” much more!

Cheers

Dennis
