hi all i im wanting to perchase a 450d but is there any way to mount it on to a 1.25" focusser so far all of the addapters only do
2" focusers also is there anything else i might get for this task

Hi Trevor, all you need is a T-1.25" adapter. There are plenty around. Try bintel or myastroshop. Any reason you want a 1.25 and not a 2"? 1.25 swill give you very bad vignettint

That's a shame. Why not look into a 2" focuser at the same time

Hmmmm doesn't look like it. You'll also have to take into consideration the additional weight the 450 will put on the back. What are you hoping to image with it?

I think the cheapest and easiest option might be to fit a 2-inch "visual back" to the rear of the scope. Bintel sell for $39 and typically stock these.

I don't know if the nexstar 6se can have the existing visual back taken off Jeff. Isn't it like the ETXs ?? Be good if it could

i will be using it for imaging not taking near an angle grinder even though its a celestron. realy meade's are ok,espeicaly when there not yours

If you are imaging (thinking deep sky) then does your mount come with some means of tilting the base to turn it into a pseudo-equatorial mount? If not then you will be limited to around 30secondish for your subs due to field rotation in Alt Az mode

the visal back can be taken off also saving up for guiding scope eq6 pro mount and a celestron wedge my plan for the future is to put my dob on a eq6 then use my nextimage for guiding aslo i would like to mount the camera pigy back and get some constelation images thanks for the hhelp

It would depend on what the visual back thread is, but if its the same as any other large SCT when yes it will

It will be 2" across rather than 42 mm.

yes(hope its a good thing) the inside is 50mm or 2" across on the inside so will it work
