Brisbane Sunset November 29

We haven't had a good sunset for quite a while here on the Bayside.

I deliberately went for a high ISO to introduce a little 'artistic' grain.

This was taken with the 40D and 17-40L.

It was an eerie sort of sunset tonight. Almost like it was coming through a dust storm. It bathed everything in an orange glow.

Views from my place this evening, to the east and then to the west.
And a wide field to the west.

Nice shots Matt & Jeanette. I was too busy chasing a hoverfly and blue banded bee to notice the sky lol...

I had hoverflies in my house today. But I was pretty well plastered to the couch and didn't chase 'em with the camera.

I noticed the spectacular sunset yesterday, too. Did you notice that some clouds had this sort of greeny/yellow tinge to the underside of them, as well as the pink ones? It was eerie.
