I would go along with that.
A star rating between 1-5 with no comments makes sense as long a we can agree that 5 stars=good and 1 star= unimpressed.

A good idea in theory, but I do not think it will work, as IIS assumes that all transaction are purely between two individuals and it accepts no responsibility for any transaction issues. Because of that, I would accept any transaction between me and another member as private and confidential and no one elses business. If I have an issue with a transaction on IIS that is for me and me only to sort out.

Stephen, are you on comission?

of course its got nothing to do with IIS, and of course its between the two individuals, but what would you rather? let someone keep behaving really bad between transactions, or at least be able to give the deal a mark out of 5, without even saying a word, then if someone wants to know why, they can contact the parties in private? wots wrong with that?

so if you paid me for something, i just didnt send the goods, ripped you off, you wouldnt tell a single soul on here to be wary of me?

then your a better man than me

That did happen to me. I paid for the item in good faith and never received it. Of course the seller says that he did post it and says Auspost must have lost it.
Maybe they did who knows. I can only guess but the perceived lack of concern on the senders part can only fuel suspicion.
