GSO 200mm F5 newtonian with Moonlite

No takers: local High School wins.

Peter

I have a nice 200mm F5 GSO newtonian for sale and a LXD75 mount. It's a terrific scope for imaging. Crisp and fast. It includes a new sexy red Moonlite focuser on it instead of the standard GSO fare which makes it excellent for holding up serious imaging equipment. It's the standard GSO F5 8" Newt as in Andrews web site. The Moonlite focusers are about $450 ++ to buy now and these scopes (OTA only, with rings and dovetail bar) will set you back about $450 plus.

There is an LXD75 GO-TO mount that can go with this if a buyer wants it. I have fitted WarpsDrive belts and pullys to it in place of the usual gears to deal with Periodic Error. I haven't really used this mount much (bought on impulse) so can't say much about it except that it comes with a reasonable field tripod and tracks fine. It comes with a Meade #909 clone and a GPUSB for guiding.

If anyone wants the lot, I'll accept A$1100 for it as a package (plus postge).
If anyone wants the OTA only, I'll accept A$700 or the LXD75 I'll accept A$500
In view of size, I think pickup is the way to go. I can deliver within a resonable radius of Brisbane.

Yes. As far as I know all LXD75s are. Anyway, it is.
