You'd have to be happy with that - I'm assuming you are not autoguiding yet?

Hi Peter, yes I am autoguiding now. Last night was my first proper run. But I had to keep my subs short cause I was dodging clouds.

You wouldn't be so excited if you saw the full res version.
A resize hides a multitude of sins. Kinda like beer goggles for astro pics.

Now that you've got the autoguided GEM you'll be making leaps and bounds. Hopefully the QLD weather behaves this Summer.

I'm out tonight Peter. Glorious weather. Pity about the seeing, but it's clear and that's a start.

Good idea, I like ya think'n

Can you display it a bit bigger next time too? It's hard to appreciate your reprocessing efforts at that small viewing size.

Jeanette, we don't use the word repro on IIS any more.. haha

Lookin good (resize not withstanding)

If I wanted to be really picky, I'd say it was upside down? other than that, it looks great!

being only a meek and feeble woman, I'm finding it a little difficult to use the 8" atm. I can't hoist the damn thing onto the mount.
