You have some lovely macro shots there – very well executed and presented. I’ve got the Canon EF-S 60mm F2.8 macro lens and have dabbled a little with spiders around the house. From my somewhat ordinary results, I can appreciate the skills and effort required to produce such wonderfully detailed photos.
Thanks Trevor - and, yes, you are 100% right - patience is a virtue. I do admit that I've been pretty luck with my macro imaging - in a lot of cases I've been in the right place, at the right time. I've gotten 2 shots of a native dronefly in all these years, and both by pure luck. That said, the first instance I had one chance to get the shot, and nailed it. Made harder by the typical afternoon breeze, but I nailed it.
