Getting married today!
G'day all,
It's our wedding day today! Amaizng how these things take ages to plan but then are suddenly here.
Lookig forward to most of it, just a couple of bits I'm unsure of. Can't wait to see my bride mainly for the fact of being back together to help each other through the day, but going to be tricky walking down the isle in time to music, and not particularly happy with the seating of guests at the reception (venue has crammed them in) but I hope they make do enough to enjoy the evening. The ceremony and a slide show (with music) we've done of our 8 years together will be the hilights I think.
I'm at my brother's place, she's at our house. I leave here early afternoon in my friend's pink 1959 cadillac convertable to pick her up from our house and walk down the isle together at a nearby park, at 3:30 local time.
Our photographer (who's also somewhat in to astrophotography) was going to do some astro shots with us, but I don't think the clouds will stay away to permit that. Weather is fine bt overcast and gusty wind.
I'll be sure to let you know how it all goes in about a week when we're back!
Roger.

Heyyy, I see you have your priorities straight. It's your Wedding Day and the first thing you do is go to IceInSpace.
But seriously, I really do hope that today is everything you want it to be. May your lives together be full of happiness and love.
Congratulations to both of you.

Of course, must login to IIS Seriously though, I don't have anything pressing to do until later, so have a bit of time right now.

A reasonably dark location, yes. .. but... the wedding was planned to not conflict with new moon, so if anything I think I will get moonrise/set pictures

Yeap In fact, thinking about it, she helped me build my observatory 7.5 years ago at my parents place, and then helped move it to our house a few years later. She's reasonably tollorant of my late nights and very supportive of the hobby
