NGC 1566,1581 Dorado better seeing, plus a Horse

Hi,

another attempt at a luminosity of NGC1566 last night.
Seeing was very good all night. I have a few more in the
bag still to do...This is the first quick process of 1566.

Edit: added 2x Bpline resample routine result and a crop
of the 2x section showing core detail.

Edit 2: added the Horse. This capture was finished around 4am
and the seeing was really steady!
Only thing is, the drive PE is at it's maximum amplification due
to the DEC of the Horse...147 good frames from 350.

Edit 3: added NGC 1581 result along with an Aladin Sky Server
comparison field with a mag 19 star identified.

Really nice set of pictures. That galaxy bottom spiral arm goes on for ever. Very cool stuff.

The Spanish dancer is in full effect. Lovely extensions to the spiral arms. Well done on these images. Quite an impressive portfolio.

Very nice collection of images Steve. Yes a couple of camps. Snake Valley in Vic and IISAC in NSW.

Thank you Marc, Frank, Jase and Doug.

Yeah Doug, we might try and make it to SV next year.
Is there one in March as well?
