I was pleasantly surprised to find a light dusting of snow about the place this morning. Any one else get snow?
I've taken a few happy snaps ( nothing special, I didn't even put shoes on the go outside). I'll post them when I work out what the problem is with PS... its not playing the game...
1. Horses and POD out the back door.

Still scratching my head with CS3... these were saved for the web in my old CS2 installation.

Mrs and me, will be travelling up to Bathurst, Monday week. For the V8's. Yes Petrol Head......
She might feel at home with a dusting of snow... Though she is accustomed to foot of snow instead of 1/2". She laughs everytime I mention snow.
I did tell the Mrs to pack everything from shorts to jackets and wooly jumpers.
David, 32 degrees, ahhhhh lovely, just hope we don't get 32 degrees for 2-3 days then snow again...And a dust storm to boot.
I just went out to feed the horses a while ago (while the sun was out)... It seemed unusually cold, so checked the weather station when I got back in... outside temp is about 0°C but the windchill is -11.8°C!
The dog and I are staying inside near fire the rest of the day!

No snow here (northern outskirts of Orange), I'm at about 780 metres.
Yesterday afternoon we had that horizontal sleety-haily-snowy stuff intermittantly as the offending clouds blew overhead. The only thing that settled was a nice covering of hail, but that only settled on the bare bits in the garden. But the fire's roaring, its bloomin cold. I managed to coat our horses before the precipitation began yesterday - even managed to get a child to ride a very reluctant pony before the weather arrived.
So today it looks like it will be a bit of this , maybe a bit of , perhaps a drop of or with the cabin fever, and not enough of

I was a Katoomba on Saturday and my wife see her first snow ever. The snow didn't last as soon as it hit the ground it was gone.
Almost like Vermont!
I'm off to have a look at the light dusting of massive gum trees that have fallen overnight (tad windy here).

Thanks RB. It's nice and handy. It will look better when I finish top dressing and establish a proper lawn. Now that the concreting is finished, that's next... try to get some grass established this spring.

Thanks Kerrie. I think we're in a great spot! It'd be nice to have a bit more ground, better TV and phone reception, and less cloud of course, but otherwise it's almost perfect.

Nice pics Al, it would be nice to have snow at home, we get it on the mountains but only once in my 56 years have I seen snow on the hills around Launceston. What I'm really jealous of though, is that pod....

Thanks Phil. I love my POD! It's another one of those bits of astro gear that does it's job really well. It combines what I like about a dome with what I like about a roll of roof.
