Jup Sept 14th

Hi All,

Imaged Jup Sept 14th in average conditions, seeing was 5 to 6 / 10.

Captured RGB sets every 20 degrees longitude CMII starting with long 280 and finishing with long 40 degrees. Obviously there has been significant coverage of the Wesley Impact region of Jupiter since the impact, also the GRS as it leads the impact region.

These images and animation cover the opposite side of Jupiter, perhaps not as exciting as the GRS but still with several interesting small white ovals in the South Polar region. There is major activity occurring in the NEB regardless of the longitude and some fine detail present in the North Polar region. It would have been nice to have a little better seeing, perhaps tonight.

Have posted 3 of my 7 RGB's and also an animation of all images taken over nearly 3 1/2 hours.

Thanks for looking.
Regards
Trevor

Thanks Anthony, but for my Peltier cooler I doubt I would have captured anything worth processing as the temperature dropped off so rapidly.

Thanks Lester, but for the strong gust winds I think the data would have been a lot better.

Thanks very much for your comment Mike, I have received some very good advice on IIS from you and Anthony over the last year or so and I am fortunate to have enough reasonable nights to put it all to good use.
