Focus is a bit off, but still a very good shot Jakob. Instead of using the 2x barlow, why not just take a 100% crop from the image, it'd probably be better image quality. Any reason for stacking? I usually just take single shots of the moon, but I'm a newbie when it comes to astro imaging.

On ya, Jakob. Nice to see you posting images.

Dave, much the same as DSOs, you'll end up with greater SNR with stacked images, even of the Moon. Give it a go next time, and compare. You might be surprised.

Regards,
Humayun

Even when shooting at ISO 200? Not much noise there, even on my 1 generation old DSLR!

Dave,
Thanks for the comments. I need Barlow to get focus (need extension tube). Stacking to reduce atmospheric noise (also stacked darkes).
Need more expierience in focussing.
