DK Cass.

G'day Everyone,
long time no post.
The DK Cass. I working on is in great progress.
I had to redesign everything to make it adjustable. Have a look, the primary cell is adjustable in every direction. The mirror will be is seated on a cork pad. I pinched the idea from TAK's Mewlon...
3 fan help for cooling.
The secondary holder has push-pull adjustment and lateral for optimising back focus.
I still have to get the WO focuser, and a right angle finder

Thanks everyone for the help

I'll report of first light.

David the hack saw is for me....if I lose my sanity
Rob, it's more than a year now.
Very frustrating, but I hope it's worth it.
Only time will tell. According the original advertisement from AO in the 70's this optical set is made better than 1/15 wave. Time will tell.
Mick.
