23/8 - solar observation under enormous fire

An enormous big fire has burned 120.000 stremma`s of pine trees NE of the ATHENS until now. The wind is very stong right now (8 Bofor) and the situation is out of control.
Big soot on the heaven here and very bad seeing.
I`m so sad and angry together because burned a wonderful area with trees and why some pinks don`t respect the nature to make money.
Empty minds. You and your moneys sheets.
Sorry but i`m very angree with this ****in situation here.
Ok let`go to the observation.
Today not see the surface of the sun but the limb. Guys my eye stick on the eyepiece and not leaving from there.
Great areas prominences around the disk. Immortalize them with a video. The words is few for me to discribe this.
So go to some live action..............

I am familiar with the area and its a great shame. Having been through the bushfires here last year you have all my sympathy. Especially as I understand many of the fires are set (illegally) to clear forests for development
Just in case: If you find yourself in any danger - GO!! Run away. You can always get new gear.
