Saturn and Mercury at Dusk, 16Aug09

Hi all,

Here's a couple of quick images of the planets this evening. They should be closest tomorrow evening, and then the Moon will join in next Saturday.

Cheers,
Stephen

Saturn sure is taking a dive really quick now.
Corvus sitting on top of the tree in the first pic also.
Great pics Stephen.
Cheers Kev.

Corvus sitting on the top of the tree - that's appropriate isn't it! I did notice Corvus while taking these shots, but hadn't realized that I'd positioned him in the tree like that.

Cheers,
Stephen

Well done Stephen,

Looking forward to re-acquiring Saturn in the morning sky, by late Nov or perhaps early Dec, it will be high enough to image again in the morning sky.

Regards
Trevor
