Thanks Craig. Yes it is quite a wide field. The image scale is a bit low at 2.5arcsec/pixel but I'm working on barlowing it and get a bit closer so I have more pixels to play with and deconvolve.

Thanks Clive. The details comes mostly form the Ha lum which I posted a couple of weeks ago. It was nice and tight already. I just added the Oiii on top.

Thanks guys. Yes it worked out alright. Almost looks RGB considering that it is a narrowband image after all.

Your setup has delivered on this one.
And, that's a fair amount of time you've spent (sub-wise) on this object too!
I've been considering getting an OIII filter in order to create synthetic RGBs like this with the 40D. Already have the Ha 12nm filter - astronomik produce an OIII and a SII clip in filter.
Do you have a link to the Ha and OIII images used to make your image?

Thanks Doug. The Ha Lum is already on these forums:
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=46912 . I've posted a small sub of the Oiii. Not much to look at though as it's mainly around the core of the nebula.

Thanks Greg - getting there with the processing side of things. Curves are so much easier than trying to balance ratios in CCD Stack.
