Moon, Jupiter and Moonbow
Conjunction of Jupiter and Moon with associated Moonbow.

Taken August 6th, 11.00pm with a Canon 450D DSLR. 2 second exposure. ISO 800.

Great shot, I got some of the same thing the other night. If it happens tonight, it wont but it the halo were to apear tonight or tomorrow, it would form the symbol for hydroden in the sky. Jupiter would be in the halo, one atom (moon) one electron Jupiter.

Very cool - I wasn't aware of the moonbow before. There's an APOD coming up tomorrow with a moonbow, wouldn't be yours by any chance?

Really nice, Richard.

Would be better if you reduced the dimensions to something like 800px wide first, so it looks a bit sharper and smoother.
